Myles sits on the Board of Directors for the SPCA Serving Erie, where he combines his deep passion for animal welfare with extensive experience in canine behavior. Like many professional trainers, Myles has always had a natural way with dogs. His journey began at Alfred State College in the Veterinary Technician program, where his interest in animal behavior was sparked. During this time, he started training dogs and horses on the farm, in school, and throughout the local community.
Since beginning his professional career in 2007, Myles has worked on thousands of diverse behavioral cases. To deepen his knowledge, he attended Medaille College’s Veterinary Technician program, where he developed a focused expertise in behavior modification. His relentless pursuit of learning led him to study under nationally and internationally renowned trainers and veterinary behaviorists, though he credits his mentors in Western New York as instrumental to his success.
A U.S. Army veteran, Myles developed an even greater appreciation for canine companions while working alongside military working dogs. This experience gave him a profound respect for the many ways dogs enhance our lives and serve society.
Upon returning to his hometown of Buffalo, NY, Myles dedicated himself to improving animal welfare and advancing the field of canine behavior. His mission is to build a vast, community-based network of trainers, nonprofits, pet service providers, and veterinary professionals to disrupt and reverse the growing rate of preventable euthanasia in Western New York. With 18 years of professional experience, Myles continues to work tirelessly to make a lasting impact on the lives of dogs and their families.
